Ugliest Dog Wins Big

What does one get when they mix floppy ears, a distinguishable under-bite and a scrunched face? The answer is a winning recipe for the world’s ugliest dog.
The World’s Ugliest Dog contest has been going on for the past 21 years and is the grandest event during the Sonoma-Marin Fair held in Petaluma, Calif.
Of the 15 contestants that participated, only one could rise up and take the coveted title as well as the cash prize that it comes with it. That monstrosity was Prabst, a boxer mix.
Pabst was rescued from a shelter by his owner Miles Egstad of Citrus Heights, Calif. The two won $1,600 in prize money and pet supplies, and a modeling contract with House of Dog, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Pabst was able to win the crown from returning champion Rascal, a pedigree Chinese Crested.
Pabst wasn’t the only winner at The World's Ugliest Dog contest. A blind 15-year-old Chinese Crested Hairless named Miss Millie won in the pedigree category.
