Alba could become a "Focker"

Jessica Alba could be joining the “Fockers.”
Alba is in negotiations for “Little Fockers,” the follow up to 2004’s megahit “Meet the Fockers.” The film will focus on Gaylord Focker and Pamela Byrnes (Ben Stiller and Teri Polo) getting ready for the arrival of their first child.
Alba would play a pharmaceutical rep who causes trouble for the male Fockers. Robert De Niro is returning Pamela’s father, Jack. Blythe Danner is expected to return as Pamela’s mother, Dina as well as
Dustin Hoffman and Barbra Streisand as Greg’s parents, Bernie and Rosalin Focker.
“Fockers” is being produced by Universal and De
Niro’s Tribeca. The latest script is being written by John Hamburg who wrote the previous films in the franchise, “Meet the Parents” and “Meet the Fockers.” “American Pie” Director, Paul Weitz, replaces Jay Roach as director.
“Little Fockers” is targeting a 2010 release date.
