Pop-punkers Fall Out Boy are offering a lock of their bassist’s hair to a select few who pre-order their new album, Alternative Press reports.
The band was opening for Blink-182 at Madison Square Garden when the bassist in question, Pete Wentz, got his head shaved by Blink member Mark Hoppus. Hoppus declared the event “the death of the emo,” referring to Wentz’s trademark hairstyle.
The offer is open to members of the band’s fan club, the Overcast Kids. The first 400 Diamond or Platinum members to pre-order the premium edition will receive a lock of Wentz’s hair. The edition costs $129.99, and includes a wrist band, a poster, a t-shirt, a vinyl version of the album, a commemorative plaque, and a one year fan club membership renewal, in addition to a physical copy of the album.
The album is available November 16 and 17 world-wide, and can be pre-ordered here
