A neighbor of Madonna’s Manhattan apartment building has filed suit because the superstar makes excessive noise while rehearsing, reports the Associated Press.
Karen George, who lives above 51-year-old Madonna near Central Park, filed a lawsuit against the building’s co-op Friday, claiming she regularly hears "blaring music, stomping and shaking walls," for almost three hours a day. The board has already threatened to evict Madonna for noisiness, but George said they haven’t acted since her first complaint in 2008, reports ABC News.
George said she’s had to leave the building because the sounds of Madonna and possibly others dancing and playing music has become “unbearable.”
“Madonna and one or more of her invited guests repeatedly dance and/or train in apartment 7A to unreasonable high decibel amplified music, causing noise and vibration to pour through the walls," George’s lawsuit said, filed Friday in New York State Supreme Court.
Madonna and her spokesperson declined comment to ABC News.
