Nidal Malik Hasan, suspect of the massacre that took place at Fort Hood cousin, Nadar Hasan reported that Malik was a military psychiatrist who was going to be deployed overseas, Fox News said.
Malik’s family was in shock after they heard news that he was in good condition in a near by hospital after former reports told that he was dead. Mailk was born in Virginia, out of a Muslim family, graduated from Virginia Tech University and protested against the war in Iraq after hearing the sobbing stories of so many lives lost and shattered, Nadar Hasan said.
“He said maybe Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor,” Colonel Terry Lee said to Fox News. He added, “At first we thought he meant help the armed forces, but apparently that wasn’t the case. Other times he would make comments we shouldn’t be in the war in the first place.”
