Will Ferrell has been named the most overpaid actor, reports the BBC.
Ferrell has made $3.29 for every dollar he has been paid.
Forbes accounted for how much money movies made at the box office, how well the DVD sold, and how much the television rights sold for when ranking actor. Coming in second was Ewan McGregor, followed by Billy Bob Thornton.
Actors like Tom Cruise ranked lower in the list by striking deals where they weren’t paid anything for the movie, but got a percentage of box office revenue. In the top 10, there was only one woman, and that was Drew Barrymore, who returned an average of $7.42 for every dollar she was paid.
Ferrell has had some recent disappointments, with movies like Semi Pro and Land of the Lost bringing in less than awesome numbers at the box office.
