Newly released court papers show that Michael Jackson's doctor bought anaesthetic Propofol in Las Vegas and had it sent to Los Angeles, reports BBC 6Music.
Reports show that the doctor bought the Propofol in May, around the same time he was hired by the pop star. Jackson's death was reported to be a homicide caused by the Propofol, though Dr. Murray denies purposefully killing Jackson.
Propofol is most often given to surgery patients to help them sleep and Murray administered the drug to Jackson during Los Angeles shows for the same purpose.
The Drug Enforcement Administration said that Dr. Murray had not broken any laws in buying the drug in one state and administering it in another.
The singer's death is still being treated as a homicide by the Los Angeles Police.
