Christopher Walken, the veteran actor who has appeared in over 100 movies, will return to Broadway in the winter to star in "A Behanding in Spokane," reports New York Times.

The play is a black comedy and Walken will play the role of a man searching for his missing hand. Zoe Kazan and Anthony Mackie will join Walken onstage as two con artists and Sam Rockwell will play the role of a hotel clerk.

The play, which will run for 16 weeks with an opening scheduled for March 4, is the newest from Martin McDonagh, whose other works include "The Pillowman" and "The Beauty Queen of Leenane."

Walken's last role on Broadway was 10 years ago as Gabriel Conroy in James Joyce's "The Dead."
