Bobby Pickett, best known as the voice of the "Monster Mash" died on Wednesday at the age of 69 after a battle with leukemia. "Monster Mash" hit the billboard three times, first in 1962 and again in 1970 and 1973.

System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian is finishing up his first solo album. "Elect the Dead," a "progressive rock record," is set to be released in the fall. Tankian has also recently worked on movie and videogame soundtracks.

The Beastie Boys are geared up to release a new album, the title of which is "The Mix Up." The album features instruments, rather than samples and is reportedly more rock-based than previous albums.

Suge Knight is on team-Britney! After seeing a K-Fed look alike, Knight supposedly told him that he has to watch his back and that Britney is his homegirl.

July 24 is the official release date for Sum 41's fourth album "Underclass Hero." "March of the Dogs," a song of the new album, was released online on April 17 to give fans a sneak peek. Their next single, and title track, 'Underclass Hero," will hit radios May 15.

Former "Idol" finalist, Jessica Sierra was charged with felony battery charges in Florida after allegedly hitting a man over the head with a heavy glass in a cafe earlier today. Sierra also charged with cocaine possession after police found the drug on her. She was released this afternoon on $11,500 bail.

Menudo is back in the spotlight for a few more minutos. The boy-group is re-forming and held auditions in New York yesterday to fill the four remaining positions. The group originally formed in 1977 but disbanded in 2003. The band is seeking new member that are older than 15 but look younger than 19. Menudo is most famous for launching Ricky Martin's career.

This weekend was the Coachella music festival in California. Performers included the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Amy Winehouse, the Arctic Monkeys, Bjork, Interpol and the Kings of Leon among many, many others.

Today's music pick is "The Cemetery" by Architecture in Helsinki. Never has there been a more upbeat song written about such a grim location!
